Born and raised in Hillsdale my family owned the Hillsdale Supermarket, which is how I got to know the community so well. I had the good fortune to attend Taconic Hills, graduate with a B.S. from Clarkson University, and earn an MBA from the University of California Berkeley. My wife Margaret, dauther Emma and I make our home here in Columbia County.

Over the years, I have witnessed Columbia County's transformation from farming community into a popular destination for second home buyers.
